Dinner to Honor Bob Elliott
27 Jan 2012
We are pleased to announce there will be a dinner to honour Bob Elliott and celebrate his induction into the Cooperstown Baseball Hall of Fame. Proceeds from dinner and auction items will go to support ONC Baseball as well as help kick off East Nepean Little League’s fundraising quest as host of the 2015 Canadian Little League Championships.
Bob coached for the Canadians from the mid 70’s to the mid 80’s, and was one of the founders of the Ottawa Nepean Canadian Sports Club. He was inducted into the ONC Baseball Hall of Fame in 2009, and the Canadian Baseball Hall of Fame in 2011. Bob is a one-of-a-kind treasure, not only to ONC, but nationally as Canadian baseball is his true passion for which he is a tireless ambassador.
This is truly an Ottawa baseball community event, including attendees from Team Canada, ONC alumni, Little Leagues ... and perhaps a few special guests ... coming together to pay tribute. Please join us in celebrating Bob’s prestigious accomplishments.
